Negeri Sembilan Art Society, formed in 1965, having members from professional artists and ordinary art lovers, organizes annual exhibition, plein-air activities, participating national and international art events. NSAS probably is the most active art organization of Negeri Sembilan.
The Malaysia Artistes Association was formed by a group of senior artists in 1980. However, it was suspended shortly thereafter. In 2002, Mr Sum Kwai Fong reactivated the Association and took charge as President and his focus on protecting the welfare of the artists in the industry.....
Founded in 1981, the Klang Artists Association showcases and promotes oil paintings, acrylic, Chinese ink, batik, sketches, calligraphy, mix-medium paintings, photography, glass printing, stone stamps carving and others of its members.
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association Malaysia was founded in 1983 and it has been one of the main fine art societies in Malaysia. Its alumni network is widely spread across the country and for decades, the Association promotes and fosters “Nanyang style” painting and plays an influential role in the art scene regionally.
MALAYSIA CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING ART SOCIETY was established in the early 1995. Mr. Chong Kong Keong is the president of the society. He is also a famous Chinese Brush Painting Artist in Malaysia as well as Overseas. There are more than 200 existing members in this society.
Organized brands by Dr Foo Yong Kong, Dr Cheah Tian Song, Master Lum Weng Kong and the late Mr Zheng Tian Beng in the year 2001. The Negeri Sembilan Branch was formed in the year 2007. Until recently the association and each branch had organized many art and calligraphy activities at national level: art & calligraphy exhibitions, charity exhibitions, art & calligraphy competitions, and etc.
Cao Tang Men Eastern Arts Society (CTM) was founded by Dr. Cheah Tien Soong in 2005. The objectives of CTM are: providing a platform for teachers and practitioners, under-one-roof good relationships or networking to form a big family of artists.
This is a non-profit voluntary community driven coalition set up by art enthusiasts for the sole purpose of promoting this particular art form to whoever has expressed interests and is willing to journey with the coalition.
Brainchild initiated by founders including Ng Juat Wah (M. A. Edu), Hia Chin Ngan, Wong Han Zhong, Chong Buck Tee, and many more.The association aims to collectively gather efforts from all Chinese calligraphers and painters within the Greater Kuala Lumpur vicinity in the pursuit of significant development for the calligraphy and painting art scenes.
