UTAR’s 24 Festive Drum team was formed on June 2015 by UTAR students which were enthusiastic in 24 Festive Drums. With the help and supervision of 24 Festive Drum team’s advisor, the team finally had the chance to perform for the first time on 2015 March. A number of new members has also participated in the team since it has been formed.
24 Festive Drum team has since been a club that brings all its members together to practice and learn drum skills. All our members are very humble and eager to learn and improve their skills from each other.
UTAR’s 24 Festive Drum team has participated in countless performances on and off campus. With full spirit, the team has practiced and has also collaborated with several clubs and societies, such as Wushu Club and Chinese Language Society to deliver exciting performances during events. Through this, our members cultivate good relationships with different clubs and societies to have more collaboration in the future.
24 Festive Drum is a Chinese heritage that has been passed on through generations. UTAR’s 24 Festive Drum team not only implants cooperation among members, it also promotes perseverance of cultural heritage.
