Infected by Polio at 1 year old, causing disability at her left lower limp.
Had surgery to lengthen her leg at 22 years old to ease her mobility but the failed operation made her to walk on crutches for the rest of her life.
Found her confidence and health and discovered her performance talent through wheelchair dancing at 35 years old. Dancing on her wheelchair enabled her to appreciate the beauty of her own body and explore the possibilities in herself, leading her into a more wonderful life.
She appreciates the enlightenment from God: "Dance with the imperfect body and make wheelchair dancing a miracle of life, therefore, moving the hearts and encouraging the others to reconsider their own meaning of life; to appreciate what you own but not focusing on what you don't have; discover what you have and use your talent freely; accept challenges and enrich your life."
She is currently a national couch and adjudicator of wheelchair dancing under Chinese Taipei Sports Federation for the Disabled, and also a teacher and national representative of wheelchair ballroom dancing. She success in performance and experience of life makes her a life motivator to inspire the others.
In her life as a ballroom dancer, she won numerous world and Asia championships in ballroom dancing competitions in Japan, Singapore, Holland, Taiwan, Germany and Russia, including the IPG Wheelchair Dance Sport World Championship.
